Salary of up to £30,000 per annum (£9 - £12 per hour) depending on experience and level.

About the Role
​
Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
Maintaining daily care notes on our handheld devices and ensuring information about residents is personalised and up to date.
Supporting residents to move around the home. This might involve supporting them to walk, transferring them in a wheelchair or using a hoist.
Repositioning residents to ensure they are comfortable and supported.
Admin duties: updating food, fluid and stool charts.
Supporting the Nurse or Senior Care Assistant to monitor the health of our residents and reporting any significant changes.
Serving meals/drinks and transferring residents to the dining room (day shift only).
If you work night shifts you will check service users throughout the night to ensure they are safe and comfortable; assisting with repositioning.
Attending planned activities: assisting the team, repositioning, providing care as necessary.

About You
You're someone that cares for others and wants to make a real difference to people's lives.
You have previous care experience and ideally have an NVQ 2 qualification in Health & Social Care.
You'll cherish the rewarding moments you have with our residents each and every day.
You understand there will be challenging days, but you'll also laugh, have fun and make lasting
memories with our residents.
You'll understand that providing great care means looking beyond the established way of doing things - for opportunities to do things better.

Hours
Shift times are 8am to 2pm, 2pm to 8pm and 8am to 8pm.
Flexible shift patterns and full time contracts are available.

COVID-19 considerations
We have a range of additional infection prevention and control measures in place including sanitization, PPE, enhanced deep cleaning, visitation protocols and regular training. As a result we have kept cases to a minimum and protected our team members and service users.
